    The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel situated on the banks of the River Thames in London, England. The entire structure is 135 metres tall and the wheel has a diameter of 120 metres.

    เจ้าชิงช้าสวรรค์นี่ตั้งอยู่ที่ริมฝั่งแม่น้ำเทมส์ในประเทศอังกฤษ มันถูกสร้างขึ้นในปีค.ศ. 1998-1999 และมีความสูงถึง 135 เมตร ซึ่งก็หมายความว่าถ้ามีใครทะลึ่งโดดลงมา ตัวเลือกของเขาก็จะเหลือแค่สองอย่างคือ "ตาย" กับ "ตาย" ฉะนั้นควรจะคิดให้ดีก่อนที่จะโดดนะครับ

     It is the tallest Ferris wheel in Europe, and the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom, visited by over 3.5 million people annually. It provides the highest public viewing point, and is the 20th tallest structure, in London.

    เจ้าชิงช้าสวรรค์นี่นับได้ว่าเป็นหนึ่งในแหล่งกินเงินนักท่องเที่ยวของอังกฤษเลยก็ว่าได้ เพราะแต่ละปีจะมีคนมาเที่ยวที่นี่มากกว่า 3.5 ล้านคน แต่ละคนก็จ่ายค่าตั๋วคนละ 15 ปอนด์ ไปคิดเอาเองละกันว่ามันขนาดไหน

    แต่ถึงเจ้านี่จะเป็นตัวกินเงินในกระเป๋าชั้นเยี่ยม ผมก็ยังอยากไปอยู่ดี ก็คิดดูสิ มันออกจะสวยขนาดนี้ ไม่ไปได้ไงหล่ะ เนอะ

    The Canada Goose is a wild goose with a black head and neck, white patches on the face, and a brownish-gray body. Native to arctic and temperate regions of North America, it is occasionally found in northern Europe, and has been introduced to other temperate regions.

    พูดถึงห่านแคนาดากันบ้าง ห่านแคนาดามันก็คือ... ห่านป่าชนิดหนึ่ง (เหรอ! ไม่บอกไม่รู้นะเนี่ย!)ที่หาได้ง่ายมากๆ ส่วนใหญ่จะพบมันได้ทางแถบอเมริกาเหนือหรือยุโรป โดยเฉพาะบริเวณที่อากาศหนาว ฉะนั้น อย่าคิดว่าจะได้เจอมันแถวประเทศร้อนๆแถบเส้นศุนย์สูตรอย่างประเทศไทยเลย

     The Dolomites are a mountain range located in north-eastern Italy. It is a part of Southern Limestone Alps and extends from the River Adige in the west to the Piave Valley in the east.

 In August 2009, the Dolomites were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

     นี่คือเทือกเขาโดโลไมต์ที่อยู่ทางทิศตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของประเทศอิตาลี ตัวมันนั้นประกอบด้วยแร่ธาตุโดโลไมต์จำนวนมาก (ซึ่งก็เป็นที่มาของชื่อมันนั่นแหละ) มีจุดสูงสุดที่ 3,343 เมตรเหนือน้ำทะเล

     ในปีค.ศ. 2009 มันถุกขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นมรดกโลกโดยองค์การยูเนสโก

     แค่นี้แหละ ไม่มีอะไรมาก แค่เห็นว่ามันสวยก็เลยเอามาให้ดู :D

Han Son Doong Cave

Largest Cave in the World 

    Hang Sơn Đoòng (meaning "Mountain River cave" in Vietnamese) is a cave in Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park, Bố Trạch district, Quảng Bình Province, Vietnam. The cave is located near the Laos-Vietnam border . It has a large fast-flowing underground river inside.

    Hang Sơn Đoòng was found by a local man named Hồ-Khanh in 1991. The local jungle men were afraid of the cave for the whistling sound it makes from the underground river. It was not until 2009 that it became public after a group of British scientists from the British Cave Research Association.

    The biggest chamber of Sơn Đoòng is more than five kilometers long, 200 meters high, and 150 meters wide. With these dimensions, Sơn Đoòng take the title of the world's largest cave.

    ถ้ำนี้เป็นถ้ำที่อยู่ในประเทศเวียดนาม มีชื่อว่าถ้ำ 'ฮาน เชิง ดอง' (ถ้าฟังมาไม่ผิด น่าจะอ่านอย่างนี้) ในตัวถ้ำก็ไม่ได้มีอะไรมาก ก็อย่างที่เห็น มันมีป่าขนาดเล็กๆแล้วก็ทางน้ำเชี่ยวสุดแสนอันตรายของตัวมันเอง แต่สิ่งที่น่าตื่นตาตื่นใจกลับไม่ใช่สิ่งเหล่านั้น แต่เป็นขนาดอันใหญ่โตของมันต่างหาก ว่ากันว่าห้องที่มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดในถ้ำมีขนาดยาวกว่า 5 กิโลเมตร สูงกว่า 200 เมตร และกว้างถึง 150 เมตร!!! (ใหญ่จริงๆ ใหญ่มากๆ ถ้าจะเดินนี่คงเดินกันขาลากเลยหล่ะ) ด้วยขนาดเท่านี้ เราก็เลยจัดให้มันเป็นถ้ำที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลกไปโดยปริยาย...ชาบู ชาบู
